Engraving using Lasers

Engraving is an art to carve, cut or etch into a material or surface of wood, granite, marble, metal, plastics, glass or ceramics.This is a precision work requiring a high degree of accuracy and consistency, and is done by highly expert people, adept in this art. The lasr technology is taking over the hand made accuracies. A laser engraver can etch designs or figures on a surface of your selection with perfection in less time.

LASER (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) is a beam of light, which is stimulated for precise emission and is controlled by a computer. This technology was developed about two decades back and is adopted for various applications. It can be absolutely perfect and correct. Precise shapes, designs or art could be engraved precisely faster than traditional methods. It gave quality finish to different applications with increased efficiency resulting in customer satisfaction. Laser engraving provided people devoid of any skill in engraving to develop and get knowledge about this art and encouraged them to keep in this art form as a hobby and leisure time activity.

Many things can be achieved with laser technology. Professionals and amateurs pursuing engraving as a hobby can use wooden, plastics, glass/ceramics, metals and Sign Foam surfaces to make innovative designs and work of art.

Wood:

Sign Foam is a material having strength and durability. It is high density polyurethane. With laser engraving 3D designs can be created on such surfaces and cutouts can be painted to produce multicolored signs.
