Article Directory Submission Guidelines
The rules for submitting your articles to the Collectibles-Articles.com Directory are simple, but they must be followed! Off-topic and poorly written material will not be approved; and even if it were, our readers and publishers would not use your content. Please save yourself, us and them time by adhering to the guidelines or contacting us for clarification. The subject matter must be of interest to collectors. Sales pitches are not allowed - that's what the Resource Box text and links are for. In addition to articles about "things" people collect, topics may include related material of interest to collectors. Examples: Civil War battles (for collectors of Civl War memorabilia) or Houdini's life (for collectors of magic paraphernalia). Articles should be 400 to 2000 words in length, not counting the Title, Summary or Resource Box (if it is longer, break it up into several articles). Each of these goes in its own box on the Submission page. Use short paragraphs for easy reading. Content MUST be detailed, informative and engaging - NOT general observations. Please look at our Featured Article (link on the right side of our Home page) to get a feel for styles that work best. You may include pictures with your articles as long as they are used to illustrate the topic of your article. See the FAQs For Authors page for instructions on how to do so. The articles that you submit must be your own work - You may NOT submit articles written by other authors, and the content must not be plagiarized from another source (you may submit articles of your own that have already been published elsewhere as long as they are truly yours). No rebranded articles allowed, you must be the sole copyright holder for each article you submit. To do otherwise is unethical and illegal. Articles written by a ghost writer for you are acceptable as long as they are being used only by yourself. WE HAVE SEEN MOST PLR PACKAGED ARTICLES AND SIMPLY DELETE THE ARTICLES AND YOUR ACCOUNT. By submitting your articles to Collectibles-Articles, you grant us the right to publish your articles - We may publish your article anywhere on our website, blog, or syndicate through RSS. We may also change where it appears, including the category, at any time. We may make small edits to fix errors, but don't expect us to do so. You should use the Spellchecker and have someone review your article if you are not sure of its grammer or readability (we promise our Publishers polished, clean material). By submitting your articles to Collectibles-Articles, you grant others the right to publish your articles - Other Collectibles-Articles users have the right to publish your articles on their websites, in their newsletters or ezines, and more as long as the article is left in the original state. This includes the resource box which provides you credit as the author of the content and links back to your site. No affiliate links! - The articles that you submit to Collectibles-Articles should not contain affiliate links. It is acceptable, however, to mention the URL's of your own website which redirects to the recommended affiliate product. Use the resource box for linking back to your site - Articles submitted will not be approved if they contain links in the body. Please use the resource box to link back to your site or other relevant sites. Please limit resource box links to 2 - Articles containing more than 2 links in the resource box will not be approved. IMPORTANT: To make sure readers can see your address, whether the Publisher publishes in the text or the HTML version of your article, you should include the full www domain addess of your site (see our FAQs For Authors page for details). Submitting your articles to Collectibles-Articles does not entitle you to financial compensation of any kind - You will not receive compensation from Collectibles-Articles.com or the users of our directory for articles you submit. Submitting an article in no ways guarantees inclusion in our directory - We reserve the right to reject an article submission for any reason. Articles must be spellchecked and proof read for grammatical errors prior to submitting - Do not submit articles with spelling errors or poor grammar. A live person reviews evey article submission and we reject content that doesn't meet this requirement. I'm sorry we said this twice, but it saves Authors, Publishers and us time and heartache if we all know our articles are Good-To-Go. |
