Chevy Chevelle: Great Collectible Auto

One of the most successful cars to come out from the stable of General Motors, the largest automobile manufacturer in the US, is the Chevy Chevelle from the series of Chevy. Introduced in the year 1964, Chevy Chevelle is intended to primarily compete with Ford Motor Company’s Ford Fairlane vehicle.

Another important aspect of Chevrolet Chevelle is that it is not meant for any particular class or sector of people and is more of a people’s car with a number of versions and variations provided for choice of the customers. In a nutshell, the range of Chevrolet Chevelle versions includes the basic family autos, convertibles as well as coupes. The sports version of Chevy Chevelle, with a performance of 283-cid and 220-bhp edition is capable of completing a quarter-mile distance in less than 18 seconds.

The Chevy Chevelle car was sold in the market under various name plates, the prominent among them being the Nomad, Greenbrier, Concours, and Concours Estate. This classic has always been a truly exciting model.
