Starting off the list is a quite fresh drummer, a few might disagree that he isn't actually a punk drummer and more of a heavy metal one but I disagree, true he likes to slow it down and do his doom style fills but deep down he's a born and bred punk-
Steve Jocz -AKA "Stevo"Born 23/07/1981. Steve is generally renowned for his work in the Canadian punk group Sum 41. An extremely speedy and tricky drummer, he knows how to alter the feel of a song instantaneously. Only one of the few punk drummers that can input cheesy metal rolls and get away with it. Steve is also renowned for his toilet humour which is a known indication of punk maturity/immaturity- you decide!
Tré Cool (real name Frank Edwin Wright III)Born 09/12/1972. He is one of the original (pretty much) 3 piece which makes up Green Day. Leaning a lot more to the pop side of punk as a drummer, Tré absolutely aided Green Day accomplish the worldwide audience that thrust them to superstars. If he been just an extra, breakneck speed, uninspired drummer the group might have toiled to pull such a immense marketplace.
Josh FreeseBorn December 25, 1972. Freese is generally renowned for his work in The Vandals but is capable of listing countless other bands and achievements. A breakneck speed drummer he can also slow it down and unite with the top and has recorded for Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne and Guns N' Roses as if to demonstrate the point. His solo albums also show a deliberate, more refrained drumming style proving that speed isn't everything but for me I prefer the Vandals sound.
Travis BarkerBorn 14/11/1975. Arguably best renowned for his work in Blink 182 he's also drummed for countless other bands. Travis sits in at no 2 not simply because of his impressive speed and timing but also for his eclectic assortment of techniques from Hip-hop to Punk, Country to Pop.
Erik Sandin-AKA "Smelly"Born on July 29, 1966. He is the enduring drummer for NOFX. He was an original part of the group but departed two years later in 1983. In 1986 Sandin was convinced to re-unite with the group but suffered from heroin dependence until 1992 when he booked into a rehabilitation clinic and has been off the drugs ever since. Erik maybe not the top of everybodys list, for any person that appreciates the perfection of NOFX then there is no match.

Some percussionists are more than happy by playing the same old used rhythms, yet a few go further than others to make a anthem their own.

Even though Nicky has matured (a little) and uses his hours working for telephone answering service, he is a huge addict of punk. Even his hair's a fair bit more acceptable these days too.
