The limbs are extracted and the body is usually discarded so a more suitable one can be fitted later. Any features on the limbs or head are removed such as the hair, eyebrows, eyelashes and any factory paint or other styling. When all of the factory styling is gone, the artist is left with the legs, arms and head and will have their own suitable cloth body.
