Originally formed in nineteen zero three, Harley Davidson is a notorious and well established motorbike brand known internationally. The American motorcycle producer was founded in Wisconsin, United States, where its H.Q are still based. The owners William Harley, Arthur Davidson, William Davidson, and Walter Davidson titled the organization after themselves; after William Harley and childhood long-time friend Arthur Davidson created a powered motorcycle in the year nineteen zero one which was a meek opening shot which was poor at hill climbing, but they immediately started on additional bikes.

The late 1920's and into the 1930's were tremendously cruel times for establishments in the United States as the financial system dropped into the great depression. Sale numbers went down swiftly for Harley Davidson, yet the establishment continued and it carried on adding to its cycle line up. Harley Davidson was only one of two cycle manufacturers to see it through the great depression.

The motorcycle manufacturer conceived high quantities of motorcycles for the United States of America military during the Second World War, just as other businesses shifted their manufacturing to help the war efforts. Harley Davidson was already aiding the Army with motorbikes prior to the warfare outbreak, but the United States and her allies required a high number of military motorcycles. The business was graced with the Military-Navy E Awards twice which was awarded to manufacturers that helped the most in the assembly of war equipment.

Harley (as the venture is normally called) mainly designs big engine cycles designed for cruising. The Harley design is extremely unique and gave birth to the chopper motorcycle design. Harley Davidson currently employs over nine thousand employees and has yearly revenues exceeding five billion dollars.
