The Marc Ecko brand was founded in the late 1990’s by American fashion designer Marc Ecko. Ecko didn’t originally intend to make a professional career out of fashion however as was studying Pharmacology whilst designing a small number of t-shirts in his spare time. Having sold the shirts to a small number of shops, they sold out fast and after creating further designs the label gained popularity rapidly and fast became a hit in the urban skateboarding scene.
