One of well-loved icons in the music business, Michael Jackson, died on June 25, 2009. Jackson died as he was rehearsing for his return concert series. Many hours of run through video recording was captured and converted into a movie. It is expected that once released on DVD, many millions of people around the planet will buy, "This Is It" as a treasured memory. The film opened on October 28. To fill worldwide demand, an audio CD was also released to go along with the release of the picture. The DVD was to be released in time for the 2009 Christmas holiday season.
