Top Of The Pots The younger generation is increasingly attracted to the novelty of the traditional teapots on offer. Any haunter of weekend markets and general antique markets knows that teapots are easy to come by. The old Brown Bettys and traditional china ones can be had for under $20, but can range up to thousands depending on their quality, antiquity or craftsmanship. Antiques and Collecting: Discovering The World Of The Aesthetes The Aesthetic Movement was a remarkable phase in British art and design. It affected everything from fashion clothing to wallpaper to porcelain; it included book design and it opened up a completely new freedom in the decorative arts. The middle classes who took up the movement as a war cry were called the "Aesthetes".
