Strike Type Diamond Field Day of troy ozDenomination$1PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONATTENTION: This is a PRE-SALE!! The 2026 Morgan and Peace Dollar Diamond Field Two-Coin Set will be released from the U.S. Mint on November 12, 2026. We are expecting our coins to arrive and begin shipping on or before December 7th, 2026. Thank you for your patience! The Morgan Dollar and Peace Dollar are two of the most iconic silver coins in American numismatic history, each holding significant historical and cultural significance. For the first time in U.S. Mint history, the Morgan and Peace Dollars feature an entirely new Diamond Field finish. Developed for America's 250th anniversary, this innovative finish introduces a repeating pattern of diamond-shaped facets across the fields of both coins! The Morgan Dollar obverse design features Liberty depicted in profile wearing a cap adorned with cotton and wheat, symbols of the agricultural and industrial growth that defined America during the late 19th century. Designed by George T. Morgan, the portrait has become one of the most recognizable images in American numismatics. The reverse displaysan eagle with outstretched wings holds an olive branch and arrows, symbolizing the nation’s desire for peace while remaining prepared to defend its freedom. Encircled by a wreath, the design reflects the confidence and growth of a rapidly expanding America. The obverse of the Peace Dollar was designed by Anthony de Francisci and features Liberty wearing a radiant crown inspired by the Statue of Liberty, symbolizing hope, renewal, and optimism following World War I. Depicted on the reverse, an eagle rests peacefully on a rock, clutching an olive branch. Deliberately different from the more aggressive eagles seen on earlier American coinage, the design reflects the nation’s aspirations for peace and stability. This 2026 P $1 Diamond Field Silver Morgan Dollar & Peace Dollar 2-Coin Set was struck at the Philadelphia Mint in .999 fine silver. Both coins feature the 1776 ~ 2026 dual date and Liberty Bell 250 privy mark. Each coin has been certified flawless SP70 First Day of Issue by PCGS. Created using advanced laser engraving technology, the Diamond Field finish features tiny diamond-shaped facets that capture and reflect light, highlighting the details of the original Morgan and Peace Dollar designs. Beyond its visual appeal, the textured surface creates resistance during striking, helping control metal flow and preserve fine details and sharp lettering. In addition, each set will come housed in Coin Advisor's 1776 Display Case.
Limited to a maximum mintage of 262,500 sets, this special Semiquincentennial release brings a never-before-seen finish to two American classics.Commemorate America's 250th by adding this historical Morgan & Peace Dollar set to your collection today!
