Antique Chalkware Figure in Folk Art style, Man with Pipe made in Austria. Markings and verbal history suggest he's from the early 1900's - hand painted plaster marked Ges. Gesch. A. B. and Austria on the base. About 8 1/4" tall, offered in As Is condition - he has two repairs on his neck scarf and his pipe, see pics #12-16, and has considerable scuffs and wear particularly on his knee, pic #17. Please review all photos, as they are part of this description.
Quite the survivor - he's chippy and rough, but still charming in his own happy way!
