Alfred Gabali Oil Painting - Maritime Sailing Vessel off the New England Coast For Sale

This is an unusual 8X10 inch painting executed in oil on board and signed by artist Alfred Gabali in his traditional reddish-brown color. It highlights a maritime sailing vessel in open water off the New England coast. It is not known if the painting was purchased directly from Gabali at his studio in West Dennis, Mass. or through a local gallery or art shop, but I believe it would have been between the late 1950's and 1960. It has remained in the family ever since the time of purchase. Alfred Gabali lived from 1886 to 1963.
