antique Art Nouveau silver-deposit glass perfume / scent bottle manufactured by the Alvin Manufacturing Company, dating circa 1895–1905.
This piece features a squat, bulbous clear glass body completely enveloped in an intricate fine silver overlay depicting blooming irises and organic whiplash vines.
Markings:
Stamped on the lower silver vine with the Alvin pattern number 3111 and 999 FINE, confirming the overlay is 99.9% pure fine silver rather than standard sterling. No stopper.
