Antique Arts and Crafts Bronze Grasshopper/Locust frame! This wonderful piece is reminiscent of Tiffany pieces from the period - circa 1900. There are the initials MV on the base as shown - could be a person’s initials or a hotel logo or any number of things. Maybe someone out there knows? It is a heavy extremely well done piece…6 1/2 inches wide, 4 inches tall, 1 1/2 inches deep. I have seen examples of this sell for close to 1500.00 so I think I am asking a a fair price. I believe originally there was a piece of glass in this to cover a photo - both the glass and photo slip through the slot in the top. - I tried to show this slot in photos. There is presently no glass but a piece could easily be made.
