An impressive 32-inch antique German Armand Marseille (Size 14) bisque head doll featuring a fully jointed composition body, striking blue glass eyes, and an open mouth with visible teeth. A wonderful, large-scale restoration candidate or project doll for collectors and antique doll restorers.
Key Features & Details:
Head: Fine bisque porcelain head incised on the back of the neck with Armand Marseille markings. Features painted delicate eyebrows, blushing, blue glass eyes, and an open mouth.
Body: Original fully articulated wood and composition jointed body standing 32 inches tall.
Project Status: Unclothed and without a wig, ideal for custom dressing and styling.
Condition & Restoration Notes:
Eyes: The sleep eye rocker mechanism has detached internally and needs to be reset/rehung.
Body: Shows visible wear, finish loss, surface scuffing, and paint chipping typical of age, particularly on the legs and joints.
Structure: Bisque head appears free of major cracks on the face area. Internal head cavity is stuffed with protective tissue paper.
