With a wig of sandy blonde ringlets, a long silk dress, wax flower tiara, and ecru lace veil, this doll appears ready for a court appearance. She has a 24” body (head to toe), blue eyes, and tiny features. Also included is a small wax flower bouquet in need of repair. Under her ecru silk dress, serving as a slip, is another pretty dress of white cotton with lovely embroidered flowers. This could serve as her dress if the “weeping” of the silk in two places (pictured) bothers you.
Please feel free to ask questions. Her clothing and accessories alone justify the price. Recently I was told that she is a George Borgfeldt. She probably was created by Marseilles for marketing and sale by Borgfeldt in the US before the First World War. She has painted eyelashes, rolling eyes, and four teeth that date her as such.
