California Coast Line Route Antique Portfolio of Photos c 1905, 25 Photogravures For Sale

This is a string-bound portfolio of photographs ofthe Cosat Line Route in California from around 1905. The photographshave a beautiful sepia tone and lots of detail. There are23 pages plus the pictorial cover.One print is a folded extra wide print of the Hotel del Monte in Monterey, California that measures 16 inches wide. Each print is mounted onto thick textured cream paper. The page measures12.5 x 10inches (32 x24.5 cm). The full-page photos measure approximately8 x6.25 inches (20.5 x 16 cm). The cover edges are frayed. The interior pages are in good condition.Produced by the Albertype Company as a set of mechanical photogravure prints. It is undated, but there are no cars, only carriages. The womens' dresses looks like they are from the end of the Victorian era.
