This was handmade by the Seattle opera costume department. It was used during several of their Christmas shows.
This is absolutely a work of art. The bottom piece of the hat is made of the softest velvet and uses a strip chinstrap to hold it on your head.
The top portion is made of a fake Christmas tree and is covered in a variety of ornaments and handmade hand wrapped packages with little bows.
This truly is a work of art. You’ll be the only person on the entire planet with this hat/masterpiece. It is much better in person than in the photos. It is very difficult for me to let this piece go. It took 13 man hours to make.
