The "dog tent" shelter half pattern was adopted in 1859 and not modified until 1892.  It is a rectangular canvas sheet measuring 65 inches by 54 inches.  Foot ropes and guy ropes are included.  Fabric is all cotton blue line canvas with waterproof finish. Grommets are hand worked.  Buttons are simulated bone.
THIS IS ONE HALF OF A TENT.  YOU MUST BUTTON TWO SHELTER HALVES TOGETHER TO MAKE A TENT.
