The focus is on companies that operated, or intended to operate anywhere in North America. "North America" is defined as every country from Panama to Canada including all Caribbean islands. Dates range from the 1830s through the 1980s when electronic trading took over the security markets.
Prices are quoted in American dollars with differing prices for the various conditions known: issued, unissued, proofs, specimens, cancelled and uncancelled.
