The stone has a polished yet rough texture that is a testament to its old age. It bears witness to the metamorphic processes that sculpted it from deep inside the Earth's crust. It is smooth and polished in some places and jagged and rough in others.
Tiger iron's complex patterns come to life as light plays on its surface, displaying a dynamic combination of colors and shapes. The layers of hematite, jasper, and tiger's eye combine to produce a sense of movement and depth that is both captivating and breathtaking, much like the stripes of a great tiger.
Tiger iron lapidary rough is a treasure to see, whether it is meant to be carved into polished cabochons or treasured in its raw form.
