Large antique heavy-gauge copper farmhouse kettle with forged iron swing handles and riveted mounting brackets. This is a substantial working utility vessel, not a modern decorative reproduction. Likely a Burnham Copper Kettle Co. No. 75 (stamp faint but size matches).
Originally used for maple syrup boiling, soap making, butchering, laundry processing, dairy work, or open-hearth cooking. Today it makes an excellent primitive décor centerpiece, planter, fireplace vessel, or architectural accent piece.

Heavy copper of this thickness is typical of late-1800s to early-1900s farm and maple-syrup kettles, not later decorative pieces.
The faint size stamp appears consistent with Burnham Copper Kettle Co. No. 75, a large utility kettle class produced roughly 1880–1930. These were used on farms and in dairies before stainless steel replaced copper mid-century.
Typical original uses included:
• maple syrup evaporation
• hog scalding / butchering
• lye soap production
• laundry boiling
• cheese curd heating
• cider or orchard processing
The forged iron swing handle indicates intended open-fire suspension use, not stovetop use.
No leaks have been detected.
Displays exceptionally well and retains strong original character.
