Correspondence / Message:Handwritten in blue ink on the reverse: "Sunday, 5 Mar. 50 / We made it to Sabine the first night. I left Mr. Schmitt at Point Bolivar the next afternoon & went on to the meeting in Houston where I spent the night & saw Rile, and glimpsed one of the twins dressed like a dream for a dance at the same hotel. Then I went by Galveston and on to West Columbia to the Roscoe Court for last night. Nobody works on Sunday so I came on down here, stopping only at the Triton in Corpus Christi. Keep the home fires burning until I get back. It's cold down here. Lots of love to all, Ted." Addressed to Mrs. Edward A. Eve, Jr., 8211 St. Clairborn Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana.
