Antique Victorian Dome-Top Canvas/Wooden Steamer Trunk with key.
Decorative Interior with tray.
Beautiful restored antique dome-top trunk with classic black iron banding, heavy rivets. Features a curved lid, original-style lock (with key), side handles, and a rich dark canvas finish with contrasting black metal handle hardware and black leather handles (double thick). The metal and canvas were professionally resurfaced.
Interior details:
The tray was completely resurfaced and the lids were recreated to period matching. The lid has two period-style lithograph panels of elegant Victorian figures in ornate frames. A matching decorative tray lifts out and displays additional colorful illustrations in lid (including a woman with child and a portrait of a woman), edged in elaborate multicolored borders. The main body is open storage with wood lining.

This is a solid, display-ready piece with great character—perfect as a storage chest, or decorative accent. Shows expected age-related wear consistent with an antique trunk (scuffs, minor marks, etc.) but overall very presentable and structurally sound.
Condition: Good restored antique condition. Exterior wood and metal bands are solid; lock and hardware intact; interior decorations in nice shape. Please review all photos carefully as they form part of the description.
