Vintage Canadian National Railroad CNR Adlake Hiram L Piper Lantern. It has red glass with ADLAKE on it.
This lantern, branded by Adlake, is a piece of railroad and transportation history, making it a desirable item for collectors interested in vintage railroad memorabilia. Really nice pre-owned vintage condition with corrosion and some rusting, as shown in the photos. No wick was found. Markings are readable.There is a dent on the rim, maybe made that way, see last photo. The overall patina is original and has not been painted, polished or otherwise messed with. The glass has no cracks or chips.

Measurements: Approximately 9.75l x, 6.75” wide across the base with the hanger. Globe is 5” tall and right about 4.5” wide across the bulb.

The tin is weathered and all the graphics are good. There is a stamping on the lower part on the side but I cannot make it out. There is a dent on the rim, maybe made that way, see last photo. The overall patina is original and has not been painted, polished or otherwise messed with. The glass has no cracks or chips.Please review all photos as they are part of the description.
