This vintage Chinese Shanghai Handicrafts wicker wood basket box is a rare find, standing at 12 3/4" in height. Handmade in China, this item showcases traditional Chinese craftsmanship and design. The wicker wood construction and intricate details make it a unique and special piece for collectors or those interested in Asian culture and ethnicities. This box is a true representation of Chinese artistry and heritage.
This is a interesting and amazing piece, please look closely at the pictures as i tried to capture 2 discrepancies. On one of his ears the wicker has slowly pulled away from the top part of his ear. The other issues is the tail looks to have separated. I purchased as is and didn't want to make any modifications in order to not cause any additional issues as I am no expert in this field.
