Very rare, Vintage original Shanghai Handicrafts Woven Rattan Moose Sculpture.
Highly sought after IMid-Century Chinese export art piece crafted from woven rattan and wicker.
The small lid on the moose's back opens up to reveal a hollow interior.
Material: Built from a fine basket-woven rattan body with broad, palmately shaped wicker antlers.
Origin: Produced primarily in Shanghai, China, during the mid-to-late 20th century for global export.
Size approx 12” long, 13” tall not including antlers, approx 17” tall with antlers
Condition- very good, complete, some wear
on ears as shown shown
