Vtg Folk Art Embroidered Story Cloth Textile Wall Hanging Table Topper Hmong 37" For Sale

This beautiful vintage handmade embroidered textile came from my late mother's collection and has been carefully stored for many years.

Unfortunately I do not know its exact country of origin or maker, but it is clearly a piece that required an incredible amount of hand craftsmanship.

The center features colorful embroidered scenes of traditional village life including farming, gardening, livestock, weaving, harvesting and everyday rural activities, surrounded by a geometric pieced fabric border.

Whether displayed as folk art wall décor, used as a table topper, or added to a textile collection, it is a wonderful conversation piece.

Condition:

Very nice vintage condition with bright stitching and no holes or tears that I noticed. There are normal fold lines from storage and a few tiny age/storage marks consistent with vintage textiles.
