Zoller and Born Regimental Military Beer Stein For Sale

This mid-century beer stein from Zoller and Born with a decorative pewter lid and traditional regimental cavalry imagery is inspired by the classic German beer steins that commemorated military service in the late 19th century. The image features scenes associated with the Bavarian cavalry regiment of “Prinz Carl von Bayern,” including a dramatic mounted soldier motif and traditional patriotic banners. The lid is made from cast pewter with ornate decoration giving the stein a strong sculptural presence.
Produced in Germany probably in the 1970s (note the mark "Western Germany" near the maker's stamp on the bottom of the stein), this is a vintage reproduction of the historic regimental steins that were once presented to soldiers finishing their service in true Bavarian style.
